Spoke Too Soon!

So, my last post was a complaint about my daughter not wanting to go potty. I 'm not sure if it was the post or what, but from about 5 pm tonight till she went to bed, she has gone potty on her own 3 times and no accidents!! All Day earlier we were out and about, so she was in her pullups, but when we got home, I put Her in her undies and told her that she can put the princess stickers on her chart if she goes, and she was so good in doing it!! I am just so proud of her and hope this continues!! Wow! I'll have to complain more often about things :)

Potty Training Sucks!!!

Can I just say how hard it's been to get Mekenzie potty trained? Seriously! I thought Haiden was hard, but nothing compared to what Mekenzie has put me through! I mean, she has no interest in going potty. I bought her cute underwear to try and get her excited, but no, she treats them just like pull ups. We lately have tried bribing her with a cute princess potty chart and that if she's good to go potty, she'll get to go the Big Castle in Disneyland and see Tinkerbell, which in a way has gotten her more attentive to that, but as many times as we talk about going potty on "the rabbit" (that's what we call her potty) and how many times she answers where she is supposed to go, she always has accident after accident! What do I do? Should I back down a little bit? She's 2 1/2 which isn't horrible, but I just feel like she should be good about it by now. Any suggestions would be appreciated!!!

Happy Birthday Haiden!!

Haiden turned 4 today! Can you believe it? 4!!!!! My Baby Boy is not a baby anymore! We had a fun day playing at Mcdonalds with Family and Friends and then later went swimming, which my kids love!! How can they not, with a Mom like Me :)

I've said time and time again, but Haiden, You are such a Joy in my life!! Your smile from Day 1 brightens any room. You have such a sense of others feelings and you always make sure that I am happy, and if not, you make sure to give me a BIG hug and tell me things are going to get better! What a sweetheart!!
You are such a bright Kid, too smart for your own britches actually!! Some of things you talk about amaze me and the things you remember, seriously!! I sometimes think you should be a few years older than what you are!! So, Happy Birthday My Dear!! I am so blessed to be your Mom!! XXOXOXO

2011!!!!

Wow! I can't believe it's already a New Year! I was looking back on all of my posts for 2010, and Man! That went way too fast!! This Year though is going to be Fabulous! I can just feel it!! I have lots to look forward to with goals in mind as well as family events that will make it awesome!


 For me, I am so stoked in doing at least 3 Triathlons this year, as well as doing a few 10ks to get me going with my running! I am so excited, and look forward for my intense training again!! I'm sure I'll be posting about it on my, TrainingBlog  so check it out! Another fun thing that Douglas and I will be doing in June is the Tough Mudder with Douglas' Brother for His birthday. It is going to be CRAZY fun!!! It's in Colorado, so we'll be spending a weekend having the times of our lives :) Can't wait!!


Another big goal for me this Year, is to cook more. If you know me, I never have been much of a cook, but having the wonderful Mother In Law like I do, Susan has taught me lots with cooking, and to make it even better, she gave me a Famiy recipe cookbook with all of her recipes, so that is definitely getting me motivated! I just want to be the type of Mom that my kids can come home to from school, work, ect and know to have a good meal waiting for them! So, wish me luck! I'm sure I'll be posting about it!


 As with Family, we'll be having a Belshe Family Reunion in July at the ranch, which I love, and this year for Christmas, we'll be spending it in Disneyland with all of the Belshes as well as Shears, Wilsons, and more! I just LOVE Disneyland and can't wait to take the kids and have tons of fun with the family!!


SO, I hope each of you make 2011 the best year ever! Write down your goals, talk about your dreams, and just have fun!! By the time this year is up, you'll look back and wish you would have done more!! Take care and Happy 2011 :)

Mexican Riviera!

Douglas and I got to enjoy a wonderful trip on Carnival Cruise to the Mexican Riviera! We left on December 10th, had one day out on sea, 2 fabulous days in Cabo San Lucas, 1 day in La Paz, 1 day in Mazatlan, 1 awesome day in Puerto Vallarta, and then 2 Days back home. As you can see, we were busy busy, but Holy Heck, it was SO much fun!! We got to spend time with some of Douglas' family as well as our Friends that came. If You haven't been on a cruise, let me just say, that it's definitely the way to vacation! The food is AMAZING and you can have as much as you want, your bed is made for you daily, they have tons of activities to do throughout the trip, and of course, there's the wonderful sun and fabulous company all around! Just to name a few of the things we did, and the pictures will explain, on the ship, we had fun playing in a dodgeball tournament, we went to a lot of game shows, of course I did karaoke almost every night, we went hot tubbin', and I even got to be Britney Spears for a moment!! The last night, they had a show where 10 people auditioned to perform as famous singers, and I got Britney Spears! It was so fun performing on the stage with the dancers and the stage lights. I was in my glory :) At the ports, In Cabo, we went to the beach the one day and Snorkeled the next. I loved swimming with all the fish! It was beautiful! I would go about 30-40 ft under through all of these cool caverns! It was awesome!! In La Paz, we just walked around the town and visited a pottery store. In Mazatlan, we hiked up to a lighthouse and ate amazing seafood at the shrimp factory. Then in Puerto Vallarta, we went zip lining in the mountains, which was gorgeous, I froze my butt off jumping in the river there, seriously the coldest water I have ever been in, and we went to another pottery store where they had really cool dishes and such.

As you can see, Cruisin' was such an adventure! We loved it so much, that we already have 2 more that are  of interest to us!! Here are some fun pictures of our trip!

Merry Christmas!!! Hope everyone had a fabulous time with Family and Friends!! Douglas and I have been so blessed this year, and look forward to a wonderful year ahead!! Oh Ya, and a cruise post is in the making! Been so busy since we've been home :) Have a Happy New Year!!!

Aaahhhhhhh!! 3 more days till the cruise!!!!!!!!! I am SO SO SO excited as you can see!!! I am so ready to be on the ship, sail on the open seas, enjoy the yummy food and activities, and have some fun in the sun!! So, Asta La Vista everyone!! I shall return... hopefully a little more tan, with lots of great memories, so in love with my Hubby, and as happy as can be to see my kids, my puppy, and be ready for Christmas!!!
