Performing...

Last night, Trisha and I were asked to put on a show for the 30+ single adults in my ward. We sang a variety of songs like "My Guy," "I Will Survive," "Believe," and one AMAZING song that Nick was so nice to sing, "Ring of Fire." It was quite scary at first, since I have not performed in such a long time, but once we got through the first few songs, it became so much easier to have the confidence like I used to have! Of course the show wasn't anything extravagant, but it was really fun to show our talent of singing. How I miss doing it!! That was my life all growing up. It really makes me want to do it more often! I should start auditioning for Musicals or something, just one more thing to add on my TO DO list :)

Workin' Away...

Well, it's been 2 weeks since jetBlue switched over to the new program Sabre, and let me just say, it has been a BUSY, but pretty smooth transition. The first week was definitely the worse, trying to help customers the best I could, but feeling like I knew NOTHING about the program. I wasn't the happiest person after work (ask Douglas!) This week however, even with the HUGE snow storm that went through the east coast, has been a lot easier for me. I feel like I'm getting the swing of things and am understanding more on what I can do. I guess time will continue to make things better! Now, it's just working my overtime hours and trying to bring the hold times down. Can't complain about the $$ I'm making though!!

Training...

So as most of you know, I will be participating in a Triathalon on June 5th. So far, I've been doing quite well with my training. I've been really working on my cycling, since I've never done it before, and let me just say, it's a lot harder than I thought it would be!! My knees aren't the greatest either, but they say the more I do it, the easier it'll be on my joints! I'm growing to like it though! It will be nice when the weather gets warmer, then I can do more of my training outside! I have also been swimming a lot, which I LOVE!! I have always been a decent swimmer which will be a huge advantage, since most people struggle the most with it! I just love the feeling of getting stronger, every time I swim!! As for the running, I feel pretty confident that I won't have any problems with it, since this one is a shorter distance and all! The transition I think will be the trickiest for me!! Starting in March, I will be doing a much more intense training up till the Triathalon. It'll be good for me! I am so excited to accomplish this goal! It'll give me an idea on what it is like, and eventually it'll get me worked up in doing a full Triathalon! Scary to think about, but definitley something to look forward too!! If any of you want to give me pointers on anything, maybe those that have done triathalons, marathons, ect, I would really appreciate it!!!
