Happy Birthday Kenzers!!!!

Today is Mekenzie's Birthday! It's Crazy to me that she's already 2!! I swear I just had her! I think things seem to have gone so much faster with her because of having Her and Haiden, rather than just one. I mean, being pregnant with her flew by, her first year, not even sure where that went, and even now it has gone in a blink of an eye! All I can say is enjoy every moment you can with your Kids! It goes way too fast!
Time for another one I guess! Just Kidding!!

Mekenzie has been such a joy in my life! There's just something about having a Daughter that makes Motherhood so special! I am very Grateful to be her Mom and look forward in all the wonderful things I'll do with her and teach her! Sometimes I think Heavenly Father put way too much trust in me, to give me such a sweet Angel!

Happy Birthday Mekenzie!! Mommy Loves you very much!!!

Douglas' Adventure

I've been meaning to put up pictures of Douglas' Hiking trip! He says it was the most Exhausting, yet neat experience he has ever had! They hiked a total of 40 Miles in the Beautiful Colorado Mountains. Just looking at where he hiked, makes me want to do something like that! I'm so glad he was able to spend some time with his Dad and Brother, as well as his Uncles and Cousins! What a cool experience for Him!!

Beautiful!!

Posin' for the Camera

A cool lake Douglas came across when he got Lost for 3 hours! Had to take everyone back to see the view!!

Our Nephew Blaine. He was such a trooper!!

Colorado!!

This past week was so much fun!! Douglas went on a backpacking trip with his Dad and Brother in Colorado, so the Kids and I got to spend time with my Mother In Law, Susan. Can I just say how much I LOVE going there? They live in Red Mesa Colorado, which is about 20 minutes from Durango Colorado, and then in the other direction 20 minutes is Farmington, New Mexico. So, it's kind of fun to be in the Mountains in Durango and then the desert in New Mexico. They live out in the beautiful country and have about 55 acres of land. Every time I go, it makes me want to live there! So peaceful!!

Anyways, we had fun seeing Toy Story 3, playing on the tire swing at the ranch, playing lots of games, and enjoying performances from the Durango Performing Group, which Susan puts a lot of time into! Watching the people sing and dance, makes me want to perform again!! I miss it so much!!!

Here are some pictures of my Kiddos! They loved the swing!! Mekenzie is also turning 2 on the 25th, so I took some pictures of her as well!! I just love taking pictures of them!!

A Big Thank You to Susan for such a great time!! We hope to visit again soon!!!

Tsunami Triathlon

Saturday, I competed in my Second Triathlon! I wanted to do one shortly after the first one I did, so this one was perfect! The Swim was only a 400 Meter, half of what my last one was and it was also in a pool, the bike was 12 Miles, and the Run was 3.3 Miles. The way they started was a little different from the last. They mixed up the Gender on who to start, but based it on the time you swim, so who ever was the fastest started First, and then every 10 seconds, they had another person jump in and so forth. I was up in the front, surrounded by Men, so that was a little intimidating, but once I got in and started swimming, I was actually catching up to the guys in front of me, so that was good!! No one was behind me the whole time Thank Goodness!!

The bike route seemed confusing when looking at it on the map, but once I started going, they had really good marks and people to guide us where to go, so it turned out great! Part of the Bike was on the New Legacy Trail and then wrapped around to go back to the Bountiful Rec Center. I really pushed myself to go faster on the bike!!

The Run is what I really wanted to improve on from my last Triathlon. My goal was to keep running and not stop!! Well, I DID IT!!! I never stopped!! The course was a rectangle which didn't have hills or anything, so that was nice!! It just inclined towards the end of the race. About 3/4 of the time, I had a guy running the exact same pace as I was, so he was my running buddy for a while! It was nice to have him with me because it helped me to not want to stop or anything!!

So overall, I did really well!! Unfortunately I can't find the results of my individual times, which I'll post once I get them, but the total time I did the race, was about 1:25:00. Not sure on the exact time, but that was what I remember! Another cool thing though is that I got 5th place out of my age 25-29 Division!! My friend Emily got 4th, so we are quite proud about that!!!

Doing these Triathlons are Amazing!!! It's such a good feeling to accomplish them!! I will be doing 2 more this year, The Herriman one in August and then the Lake Powell one in October!! My Sister Amie is planning on doing that one with me, so I'm way excited!!! As for now, I'm going HardCore on my P90X!! Wish me luck with that!! It kicks your Booty!!!!

A Fun Weekend and Birthday!!

This past Weekend was so much fun! First off, Douglas' Brother Tylor and his Wife Cherlynn, came and visited. We had a good time eating yummy food, shopping, talking, and just hanging out. I love spending time with them! They are great people!

Another fun thing was Celebrating my 25th Birthday!!!! We went out to Dinner at Outback Steakhouse which I LOVE, and played games at Aunt Josie's house. A pretty laid back Birthday, but tons of fun! Tylor even made me Cupcakes and got a cool holder for them all!! Unfortunately, I didn't take many pictures, except for this lovely one of me and Mekenzie. As you can see, she loved her cupcake!! Thank You everyone who enjoyed the special Day with me!!!
